The Kenya White Rhino Matcha from English Teais a smooth, crisp, and flavory green and white tea blend. In the Kenyan Rift Valley, the origin of this stunning tea, it isnt uncommon to see White Rhinos grazing on lands near the lush tea estates, a testament to the biodiversity of this remarkable territory. The tea used to make this innovative Kenyan tea is grown at an high altitude under the bright sun and as such is packed full of antioxidants, polyphenols and exceptionally crisp flavor. Only the youngest leaves are plucked, processed and carefully ground using a traditional stone mill to an exceptionally smooth consistency. The resulting cup is thick and rich with wonderfully warm mossy notes of grass and slight floral undertones of oolong. Hot tea brewing method: Bring filtered or freshly drawn water to a rolling boil and let cool to roughly 180°F/82°C. Place approximately of a teaspoon of Matcha in your cup. Infuse with 8 ounces/250 milliliter of water, whisk briskly and enjoy. Available in 3 sizes. Caffeine content: Low - This tea contains natural caffeine found in the L. Camellia Sinensis family. A cup of green tea steeped in boiled water for 5 minutes will contain between 22 to 29 milligrams of caffeine. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste. Antioxidant Content: Super High - When consuming matcha you actually consume all the tea leaves. Scientific testing in Japan has indicated that on account of this fact the antioxidant benefit of matcha can be up to 5-9 greater then with normal green tea consumed in the conventional manner. Matcha made from high altitude teas such as Kenya green tea or Kenya white tea, have some of the highest antioxidant levels recorded for tea - considerably more than Japan green tea.
