This is a ginger toothpaste without mint. Only pure organic herbs of ginger and thyme are added to naturally disinfectant and effectively aid in combating bacteria as well as helping prevent cavities. The added baking soda and earth mineral calcium carbonate act as gentle tooth polishers and gently help whiten your teeth. They are non-abrasive, gentle enough for sensitive gums. These ingredients are so gentle they easily dissolve with water. No artificial sweetener, such as saccharin is added. Saccharin was prohibited in the seventies however due to popular public demand it was allowed by the FDA as long as it had the required FDA warning label. No fluoride is added as this is known to be a by-product from manufacturing plants and considered potentially dangerous due to its side effects. Also, fluoride causes discoloration of the teeth. In addition it has no glycerin and has a consistency between a tooth gel and a toothpaste. No SLS (Sodium Laureth or Lauryl Sulfate is a detergent used to foam).
