Special Tea Traditional Ti Kuan Yin Oolong Tea, Loose Leaf, 3 Ounce

This medium bodied oolong has undertones of dried fruits and a sweet golden finish. We call it Traditional Ti Kuan Yin because of the longer oxidation, which was traditionally the way the tea was created. More recently, Ti Kuan Yin has been fashioned after the greener, less oxidized oolongs of Taiwan and unfortunately, this more traditional processing is over- looked. We like both the greener and more golden darker oxidized oolongs, each for their own unique character. Brewing Instructions: Start with cold water and bring water to just under a boil (185° - 195°). Add tea leaves, one heaping teaspoon per cup of water. For iced tea, add one level tablespoon. Pour hot water over leaves and steep 2-5 minutes. Remove or strain tea and enjoy!
