Dried Guajillo Chiles

A little goes a long way when it comes to these Dried Guajillo Chiles. They're smooth skinned with a distinct, slightly fruity flavor and strong piney, berry under-taste. These dried guajillo peppers are mildly hot (2-4 on a scale of 1-10). You can use them in salsa and soups or combine them with the Pasilla and Ancho to make the traditional mole sauces. Each one measures approximately 3-5" long and 1" wide. Their Scoville rating is 2,500-8,000. These peppers are available in your choice of weight so that you can select how many you want to stock up.
