NORI IS A SUPERFOOD WORTH EATING:
Traditionally used in sushi rolls, Nori is an edible algae plant especially popular in the Far East. The seaweed is mixed with water, spread on a sheet, and roasted.
NOT ONLY FOR SUSHI:
Enjoy your Best of Thailand’s Nori for a variety of dishes besides for the classic sushi rolls. Use them to make Onigiri, a Japanese rice dish, or Musubi, which is a Hawaiian snack. This Nori also works really well for soups-- fold a few times, cut into thin strips with scissors, and then mix them into your favorite Asian- style soups.
Fun Fact:
Nori Sheets are close to 40% protein by weight. That’s twice the protein of Soy Beans and 4 times the protein of Beef Liver.
