It's shape was inspired by watching children playing - always in motion just like the spirals of Rotini. Our Tri-Color Penne pasta has ridges ("rigati") make it ideal for holding the sauce it is paired with, inside and out. The twists of Tri-Color Rotini allow it to hold more sauce, and may be enjoyed in your favorite pasta salad dishes or paired with delicious tomato-based sauces.
